Kim Herbst's Bio

Kim Herbst is a freelance illustrator located in San Francisco, CA. She was originally born in Taipei, Taiwan and spent time in Tokyo before growing up in suburbia New Jersey. She attended the Maryland Institute College of Art and lived (starved) a short while in Brooklyn, NY before getting successfully involved in social and mobile games all the way at the other end of the country.  Her work has been published in magazines, children's books, comics, gallery shows, and numerous art blogs. She shares a studio with her boyfriend and her betta fish named Beeker.
