Andrea Leggitt of SaltyandSweet Design originally started making hanging mobiles in 2007 as a means to keep her mind and hands busy while undergoing chemo and radiation. Out of curiosity, she posted her first mobile design onto a (then) little known website called Etsy; when it sold immediately, a business was born. As an industrial designer by trade, Leggitt uses her background in design to execute products heavily influenced by architecture and the west.
In January 2018, she officially celebrated 10 years cancer-free and 10 years of SaltyandSweet Design. After a short stint in Missoula, she now lives in Portland, OR with her laser cutter named Rosebud and Chauncey, her 8 year old canary. This is her fifth year participating in OnDeck and she couldn’t be more thrilled to help raise more money for The Montana Skatepark Association. Now go bid!
