Joseph Griffith's Bio

Joseph Griffith is an artist from Yorktown, Virginia who specializes in digital painting and sculpting.  He has a MFA in Visual Effects from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco.  Pop culture, religion, and peculiar historical events are common influences in his work."

ARTIST STATEMENT: "Watching over the preservation of our world, The Purple One is perched atop a many-headed dove-snake floating on an infinite sea. The deity's symbol (or "chakra" in Hinduism) represents the confidence of ego, and the guitar represents the channel by which that energy is conveyed. The pancakes represent the delicious breakfast that awaits us all in the afterlife."
