Mucho Shredding this summer!

Edge of the World is teaming up with The Montana Skatepark Association (MSA) and local communities to bring out the best in skateboarding this summer.

Presenting: The First Annual Montana Skatepark Series 2012

The Montana Skatepark Series serves to bring together all the skateboarders of Western Montana for some good times and also to crown 2 champions.

3 contests total: July 14th – Helena Skatepark * July 28th – St. Ignatius Skatepark * August 11th – MOBASH (Missoula) Skatepark

All proceeds will go towards the MSA’s China Banks project at MOBASH.

Competition style is all across the park (not limited to street and/or bowl); skate it all and skate it your way.

Judging will be based on all around style, creativity, and difficulty and the best all-around skateboarder.

3 rounds: qualifier, semifinals and finals. Top 3 per event qualify for the finals in Missoula. Top 9 from all three events compete for the crown in Missoula.

There will also be mini skate-jams, raffles and other skate style fun to be had for those that choose not to enter.

2 age divisions: 16 and under 17 and up. Registration fee is $10.
3 – 5 skaters skate the park jam style for 5 minutes.

Music/after parties/shows/camping/BBQ’s will go on in conjunction with each event (catered directly to each town’s style/needs).
